My name is Mitch Martin and I'm 26 years old.

I grew up in Madison Heights, MI, where there isn't much happening other than the Kars peanut factory down the road. Perhaps it was the city that pushed me to become something more or it could have been the constant support of my family. I knew from a young age that if I really wanted to get somewhere in life that I would need to be dedicated to my passion for art. My grandpa once told me that If I were to find something I love to do then I would never have to work a day in my life. Not that I'm afraid of work, but I fell in love with that idea. This inspiration combined with my drive for success provided me with a sense of clarity when it came to obtaining higher education. I went on to Wayne State University and pursued a degree in industrial design. From day one I knew that I had made the right decision. I found that the work was a perfect blend of practicality, problem solving, and creativity. I'm proud that I will have my bachelors degree in May of 2015 and will start making my own contribution to the design world.
